My top opening in chess is the Italian Game. It’s simple, flexible, and helps control the center early on.

And then you run into buzzsaws like me that won't allow you the Italian and will instead play 2...Nf6!, when 3.Bc4 Nxe4 is already advantage Black.

If Nf6, just go Ng5
