That's a cool site. All of them are legendary!
your opening tier list!
I have a friend who really likes the Jerome Gambit for some reason, and I just tell them to stop at the Giucco Piano. The Giucco and Italian are the best though.

I really disagree with the tier list.
When the benoni is in legendary while the sicilian is in garbage we have some education problems.
I still kinda disagree with the tier list but it's way more improved.
Well this is a set of opinions, and is somewhat subjective (though not entirely), I wouldn't expect you to agree with all of my opinions on the opening. Without going into why a ranking should be this or that it's kind of a meaningless conversation. But if you want to create a tierlist feel free.
Yeah that's actually very true we definitely should respect other's opinions.
This tier list is entirely subjective.
The openings I put in Legendary are basically just my favorite openings.
Later today, I'll probably make another tier list with these openings that is based instead on objectivity, to see how close it matches up with my current one (which will likely not be close at all).
Its a very weird mystery to see the London System as legendary ? despite its dry nature while the Sicilian Dragon is garbage ? despite its tons of tactics if played correctly meanwhile the Reti is somehow said to be better than the English ?

I hate the Dragon. I played it for years, and white's attacks are almost always just so much faster than black's if he plays the Yugoslav. I think the Accelerated Dragon is vastly superior.
The London System is a lot more interesting than people give it credit for. You can actually get quick attacks with the London with early-g4 ideas. People who say the London is boring have probably not done enough actual studying of it to know any better.
I prefer the Reti over the English, yes. It's a very flexible opening, and can transpose into a lot of different things that I really like. The English is great, but I simply don't like it as much.
Okay, I made an objective tier list now as well:
The Objective one is worse.
It doesn't line up with my preferences, but I think it's a more objectively accurate one when you base it on how sound they are and how successful they are in tournament play.
Feel free to suggest a change; since it's not based on my preferences, I may be willing to switch things around a bit.
I'm curious about your tier list. Create yours HERE!
