Which Swiss Tournament software should I buy?

Our club has been very happy with Chess Nut. We've used it for a bunch of our events (it handles registration as well as pairing). We also use it to manage our club members. It is free to use and fully compatible with US Chess rules and rating submission formats.

When thinking about buying Swiss Tournament software, it is indispensable to check your particular wants and requirements. Some famous preferences accessible on the market encompass Swiss Perfect, Vega, and SwissSys. I suggest discovering every software's features, personal reviews, and compatibility with your running machine to decide which choice first-class fits your matching administration needs.

None of these software is likely to help to organize a tournament that happened 12 years ago.

The merits of the matter are not about the tournament 12 years ago.

Next and next people are looking for suitable software for swiss-system tournaments.

So the discussion is still relevant today.

No.

I have an Asus EEE netbook from 2009. It has Windows XP (please don't laugh). But Swiss Manager requires Windows7+. Furthermore, the Asus EEE has a screen resolution of 1024x600. Swiss Manager requires at least 1024x768. Because Swiss Manager waste of space, on some screens the window is cut off - right where the OK and Cancel buttons are.

And then the 150 EUR for one license.

For me: Swiss Manager is unusable.

And because I have already organized three years of rapid tournaments (i.e. 3 x 16 tournaments), I had to create my own program (VinczeSwiss).
