I agree with you. The point is that there is a image of Fischer. Crazy, lone maverick when he was young and then Crazy, lone and washed up when he was old. The picture that was in comment 15 stuck to this story.

I said that the picture was lazy because it did not challenge this very simplistic 'story' of Fischer.

You know people like Fischer always facinate people. Some idolise, whereas others loathe. The real Fischer probably exsists somewhere between these extremes.

When it comes to famous people, I like to know different things about them. Like one well used example is of Hitler being a beatnik that studied art at Liverpool (uk)*.

The idea of Hilter having a few jars in a pub with scoucers delights me :)

*O.k, so it is up for debate if Hitler actually did live in Liverpool with his brother. But the fact that he was a rubbish wannbe artist is very true and still very much tickles me :)
