Hey, GM Kopec is a really good blitz player too. I got to play him some on Leisure Linc back in the dawn of the net. I can't recall the games now anymore or would send you a copy of something probably no one else has.

But anyway it seemed at the time that He, along with IM Valvo there, were probably the best blitzers I've ever faced in ten minute games, as there. (With transmssion times of the day tho, it could take over half hour to do that,  besides costs 8 cents a minute.  Ain't it great now? ) Never did score on either one, not even a draw.

I remember seeing the Kopec System debut in CL or maybe CL&R back when he was very active in competition. I wonder if he still is playing much ?

 Capa was nuts?  does his name mean nuts?  every account of Capa ive read offers no indication that he was insane...now Rubinstien and Ivanchuck on the other hand those guys are nuts!  Rub was schizophrenic, and Chucky is just weird...Pilsbury, Morphy, Fischer, and Nimzowitsch they just werent right in the head!  i bellieve pilsbury died on a psych ward...my favorite is Tal, i love his games and the accounts of his character suggest that he was jsut fun to be around!  Spassky too
