the problem isnt theyre good, the problem is %98 of my oponents are indians, i dont want keep playing against them. Im not racist, but dude... Im tyred of playing against indian, and indian, and indian, and indian. One is the worst player ever, the other is 1000 IQ, the other is worst player again, the other is worst again, the other is 1000 IQ again. Dude, stop making me play with indians, make a separate web like clash royale with chinesse. Again, im not racist but im tyred of playing against them every single time of my life, i want see new openings and type of plays by russians, spanish, or germany at least. They play pretty good, but all my matchs all %89 indians.

They're not. In fact I would argue quite the opposite. They do make up about 1/5 of the world's population so you're bound to have at least one Indian who can play chess (but then you get 100k for every one of those who'd be better off playing checkers).
Also, you can't judge their level of skill by the age of their account. They may have been playing OTB for years and have now created an online account. It may be their umpteenth account already,...

I know. I dont know why people think we are so good. The only thing I am good at Is puzzles, Where I am 1700, But I am terrible In normal chess. Just because we invented Chess dosen't mean we will be absolutely dominating it. I bet any of you guys could beat me in a chess game, not in puzzles though.

I have 1200 rapid and 2600 puzzles puzzle rating is inflated

What? I looked at your games and more than 70% of your games were played with non-indians.

Chaturanga is first known from India around the seventh century AD. It was adopted as chatrang (shatranj) in Sassanid Persia, which in turn was the form of chess brought to late-medieval Europe.

I also agree that Indian players are good you must have seen the news that rameshbabu pragganandha defeated Magnus Carlsen

UdoTsang

Nah they just either practice a lot or built different

I think there are 2 reasons why Indians are good at chess -

1) The population - There are more than a billion people there, so naturally a fraction of them will be interested in chess.

2) The influence - There are a lot of Indian Grandmasters and the government values a game such as chess, such things influence people.

wth youre talking about, no only in chess.com, in lichess, in roblox. Theyre always one indian, dude. Literally:

Also, la cifra que sacaste esta re inventada, todo el tiempo que miro contra quien juego son de la India, el %56 por estadistica de mis partidas. Si me stalkeas la cuenta para demostrar tu punto rancio, hacelo bien...

Because it is false. It is a myth, made up on the internet. Its not how it works because therefore, we would declare all evolution as invalid and can basically attribute everything to the first person that ever invented something. The entire discussion is nonsense.

being an Indian and a chess enthusiast ... i have a few opinion on this

1) Most of Indians are vegetarians or atleast don't eat meat as much as the rest of the world. A traditional Hindu diet has a lot of nutrient rich ingredients that boost our intelligence. eg.. a lot of milk products like ghee spices and nuts. This applies especially to south indians , 75% of indian gm's and the top ones like pragg , guki and vishy are south indians.

2) Its very popular here , any city will have several coaching classes and tournaments going on very frequently. Chess players are considered intellectually superior ( especially among kids ). Parents here would love their kid playing chess the entire day rather than a few hours on video games.

3) Indians don't take a lot of work pressure , we enjoy spending leisure time playing chess.

4) Since Chess is originated from India , we play it as our own game and are proud about it.

Okay. So let's time travel back to 1989 and answer this question:

"Why aren't there any chess grandmasters in India?"

1) In Germany we like to have a Coffee in the Afternoon with a piece of cake. For breakfast many like to have ceral. It has nothing to do with how good or bad they play chess.

2) Chess is incredibly popular in germany, chess clubs can be found everywhere.

3) Germans work really hard, they also enjoy playing chess a lot but they devide their time so that everything has its place. We take out work ethics very seriously.

4) Chess does not originate from india.

KTo288

Just because he started his chess.com account three days ago, need not mean that he started playing chess three days ago. There are such things as physical chess boards and chess pieces that people use to play in real life.

Sorry, but that is not entirely true.

In response to point #1, That isn't a solid proof, even if we assume that healthy food makes us more intelligent, it is well proven that chess isn't affected by intelligence, it's about pattern recognition.

Response to #3, What did you just say?? Indians have less work pressure? Ever heard of the entrance exam competition? I believe the actual reason is that Indians play chess to relieve pressure, not because they have less pressure. I myself use chess as a stress buster from all the school pressure.

#2 and #4 are fairly true, so I agree with those.

I feel like there are just a lot of players
