2 move chess

I often enjoy playing chess in which the players make two moves at a time. If anyone else would like to play, you can do it on this forum. The rules are simple.

1. On your turn you MUST make 2 consecutive moves. They may be with the same piece.

2. Your king may only move once. You cannot use both moves with your king.

3. If you are in check, you must be out of check by the end of your 2 turns. You can leave yourself in check for the first move, but the second must have you out of check.

If you want to play a game with me, post that you wish to on this forum and I will start it.

I have a question. If you check someone on your first move, are you allowed to move again without taking the king or does your turn end?
DarkLord834

You can move again, but you cannot take the king. You win by putting the king in checkmate by the end of your opponents turn- which is why the king can only move once, as otherwise it would be too hard to trap.

ZoomorBoom

why don't you pair ChessboardGCC with another person?

ZoomorBoom

that would be the logical solution

I could- but then I would be managing multiple games at once. When Aronian22 writes down his moves, I will put a board showing the position on this forum. I will do a new one whenever there are new moves. Having two at once would be very confusing.
