Create Your own Fairy Chess Piece
piorneir: moves like a king, knight and alibaba
Worth: 5 points, when captured an opposite opponent's piece, the value of the piece captured MUST be 5 to make Ox6 happen
Hmmmm confused as to what fairy pieces are…
from my understanding a fairy piece is just any piece that doesn't move like your average pawn, bishop, knight, rook, queen, king
Master
Move like cannon, bishop and captures like a pawn butit can captures backward
If reach 8th or 1st rank turn into amazon
sheep
can only move backwards one square at a time
can't capture any pieces
if it reaches 1st or 8th rank... well, nothing.
Cougar Queen, moves forwards like a queen, but backwards like a king. Forwards is defined by towards the opponent's king.
Mine can move 3 steps forward, but only 1 step diagonally backward. Kills one step forward and or one step diagonal. Worth 7 points. If reaches 8th rank turns into a queen and is worth 10 points.

They're different because they CAN jump

They're different because they CAN jump
Yes. My bad. For some reason I read that as 'can't'.
Sorry. I will have to work on my reading skills.
Mine is called the Star, Queen but can jump and also can move like a knight and when reaches eighth rank the opponent gets checkmated.
Free-Roamer - it moves like a Rook in that it must move Horizontally or Vertically and cannot jump, BUT, it also has the following rules:
1) It can change direction.
2) It must move EXACTLY 5 squares
3) You can zigzag, but like knights, they will always end up on the opposite color square.
4) It can only capture on the 5th and final square. So a Black free-roamer on h8 with a White pawn on h7 and White Knight on g8 has no legal move!
For example, Let's say you had the following diagram where the Rooks are free-roamers:
The free-roamer on a1 cannot move.
The one on h8 can only go to g8
The one on a8 can go to b8 (a8-b8-b7-b8-b7-b8), c7 (a8-b8-b7-c7-b7-c7), d8 (a8-b8-b7-c7-d7-d8), or d6 (a8-b8-b7-c7-d7-d6)
The one on h1 can go to g1, f2, e3, f4, or g3.
Had there been a White Knight on b8, the a8 free-roamer would have no legal move, but if a White Knight is on c7, Black can play a8-b8-b7-b8-b7-xc7
God
Moves like an amazon, cannon, and wildebeest. Worth 20 points.
