I could use some thinkers for designing alternative starting layouts! The current one is years old I'm not sure who designed it. Not that it's bad but would like to test more layouts and give more options for the "Variant" choice!

What's nice about this layout is it takes atleast 3 moves for the queen to give a check, every piece is defended to begin with, it's fun having to watch out for checks from behind, and if you want to activate the hawks (which are more powerful) it costs a couple moves to move them forward.

The starting layout doesn't even need to include chancellors guards or hawks, but I think more pieces do add to the fun, for example you can't quadruple line up rooks chancellors and queen all on the same column in classical chess. It can also include pieces in other variants. Promotion ranks can also be shifted.

I will probably add a starting layout to choose from, which is exactly the same as regular chess, for the fun of it.

You can design a layout right now, and see what it looks like in-game, by copying a local game within the pause menu, and modifying the clipboard, you'd just need to know coordinates.

I just kept getting that too. Weird it's been working for all other games.

Okay I added some error handling that will give me much info next time this occurs, then I should know what's causing it!

Mobile is not supported yet

I HAVE now brought back mobile support! Play infinite chess on the go, with your PHONE!

The UI a bit small but it'll do.

If you're logged into your account, it'll pick you up where you left off if you need to switch devices

I found a glitch! When the pawn go to the promote line and the menu of the things you can promote pop up then you tap play again and that menu is still there

I didnt know the promotion glitch. The castling isn't a feature though.
