So basically, it's chess but you can merge your pieces.
Both players start with loads of pawns, but they won't stay pawns for long...
Capturing a friendly piece will merge those pieces. The merged piece will become a piece of that value, or, if no pieces of that value are used in the game, it will visually look like the pieces used to make it and act like its highest constituent.
Example of merges (The bishop has merged with the rook, and the pawn in red is about to merge with the pawn it's capturing.)
it's just the regular pieces For the intermediate merges, IDK, maybe just have a number on each piece showing how many points it is (and when a piece gets to 3 pts the player chooses between bishop or knight) This is such an old thread lol
