I have put together a competition that might be of interest to people who enjoy chess variants. The competition is called the Internet Abstract Games Decathlon. The idea is to play 10 abstract strategy games at various online sites. The goal is either to win games against other players directly, or achieve a high rating in the games.
I'm posting here because two of the games played are Chess variants, Shogi and Xiangqi, and also because a lot of people who like Chess variants also like other abstract board games. The 10 games cover a wide variety of play mechanics, old and new, well known and obscure, at several different sites.
