That's me, I get tired and miss things. . . if I really memorized some openings it would not happen, I don't believe

this is the club for you then, I would say that doing a lot of puzzles and focusing on tactics is a better place to start then memorizing openings. If you try to memorize openings and a player moves a piece you don't expect its just gonna be chaos blunderville
