Is there a Chess Club for Adults in Glendale/Pasadena/Burbank area?

I'm looking to learn to play better chess - and I think I need personal interaction with a coach and other players vs online study.

I live in SoCal: Glendale/Pasadena/Burbank area and was wondering if there are any coaches or clubs that can help me improve.

i know this thread is old, but I hope it reaches y'all. We've got a little club started on Sundays, and we'd be happy to have you!

You guys want to create a Chess Club in the area? We play at a Coffee shop or something. There's also this new coffee spot in Burbank, Magnolia Blvd called the Wish House that meets up on Sunday afternoons with several strong Chess Players.

The place I mentioned before in Burbank has now closed down. However, there's this cool new Chess Club spot in North Hollywood next door to Burbank, at a bar called the "Brews Brothers" that meets up weekly on Tuesdays from 6pm - 9:30pm. 5140 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood CA 91601.

Hey there everyone! There is now officially a chess club in Burbank. We meet at the Kalaveras restaurant on Monday nights from 6-10pm.
