Chess.com members inactiveness

It seems chess.com members are being more and more inactive? Why is this happening?

You should ask an inactive member. Don't expect the active members to know this.

Out of actual active members, say online in last 2 weeks or so, how many of them post in forums?

As for OP; I never have a problem finding an opponent for live or turn based chess and most forum topics usually have people responding within minutes.  I don't notice a decline but I havent been around long enough to notice one perhaps.  Keep on keepin on eh.

This is normal. Latest research has shown that if you see  x number of active people on the forums then there are x raised to the power of 25 people who are just reading the forums.
