Chess.com is not doing anything to stop game abandonment. They just send you a dumb message that action has been taken, but do not ban such offenders. Chess.com is an extremely poor experience because of this.
Someone who is skilled at making websites should make a database where all of us can publicly add defaulters to a list so that over time we all know who the most frequent offenders are. Ideally, such software should be a browser extension so that we can immediately know whether we are playing a defaulter.
