fed up of drag & drop feature on chess.com mobile app

I prefer clicking squares to make moves while playing chess.. today on chess.com i lost about 3-4 games due to this annoying drag & drop feature on chess.com mobile app.. while playing 3min blitz, many times the selected piece accidently gets dragged & dropped elsewhere & ruins my whole game.. there's no option on this app for selecting between clicking squares & dragging pieces.. my humble request to the chess.com team to insert this feature as soon as possible on the app too..

The app, at least on Android, doesn't have a setting.
Has there been an "improvement" since piece move fackups has increased lately. It's super bad again. Android has always been terrible to play but maybe they're reaching new heights in crappiness.

I got to the point I was just using the website due to bugs. I only goof off on here due live chess bugs and fear of false positives in their "Fair Use" algorithm. There are much better and smoother UIs out there for live chess.

Maybe because they've enabled the option of "premove" from the settings

I use the app and the website and it lets me click the squares. I would never play drag and drop.

Yes but when you're in a time trouble & playing quick moves on the app, the drag thing happens often & places your piece elsewhere, which led to blunder.. this is the problem.. I hope chess.com fix this problem soon as possible..

Up to 2023 yet mobile app for Chess.com is yet make this annoying features optional 😕. Daniel Wrench or whatever that good guys name is should look into this. Drag and drop is bad on this app for bullet games. Allow other options

I want to turn off touch to move option to prevent mis-touches moving my pieces. But can't find the option in the app.

On Android there's no option to change the move method. Not sure on iOS
