how to join the Legend league ?

Is finishing 1st in champion league the only way to join Legend league?

And what does it bring?

Yes, that's the only way. It gives an achievement and access to the Legend club. Right now that's all.

The Legend club used to hold monthly prize events, but that is currently on hold while they decide how to handle those. The number of members in the club is too high for most to get access to the events.

Now considering that the Legend league has 500 000 members, considering that it started around one year ago, it therefore means that there are approximately 10 000 parallel "universe" Champion Leagues so that approximately every week 10 000 new Legend member join.

I haven't been really tracking Leagues that much after the release contest ended. Based on the number of players listed in Champion, it could be close to 20,000 being added each week.

I don't know for sure if that Champion count only includes those currently active in a league division, or even those that are not in a division, so that weekly number could be lower.

You Yanks are really fun with your concept of "sport", like American Football being rugby for sissys who need 20 kilograms of body armor (a kilogram is a unit of measure).

Anyway, I'm going to throw you a bone in good faith, in hopes of a better future: Since the current system is a mess and the exclusive Legend League will soon have one billion of users, just create a system with promotions and demotions. Instead of 8 divisions, make it 4, but the players with most points or "trophies" ascend to a higher league, while the users with less points are demoted.

You can even create achievements for it, since kids nowadays seem to be into it, like "congrats, 4 weeks in a row in the higher tier of league", and the winner of the highest tier each week gets another achievement to keep people engaged.

Leagues don't give you anything, except they decorate your profile and show you play lots of games.

Yes you must play really a lot, but also win a lot. Indeed if you play and lose, you are not going to be 1st in Champion League to reach the Legend League. I agree it's a pity that even Legend League members don't get anything, nada, rien, nichts...

@Martin_Stahl mentioned (post #5) how the prize events were put on hold. That post was in April of 2023 and this is July. No Legend Club events have been for prizes since. There is no money prize for winning. The prize events with money prizes have been honored months ago. The events now are just for fun/rating.

There are no prizes for finishing in any place in any division for any League The contest for that ended in February of 2022.

The contest stopped logically considering the huge number of Diamond players and still rising...

Just got into Legend League. Not sure I see the point if it? How do you win trophies?

It does not change anything, there is no explicit point since benefits are nil, just good for the ego. Pity because the word Legend means something, doesn t it?

I am playing online legend leagues 2023 when will it finish what is date and time give answer.

Legend league doesn't change much about how well you play or provide any benefits at all.
