I cannot chat during my games for some reason regardless of who I play against.

Yeah but the issue was occurring before I did this. It was an attempt to fix the problem. As far as I can tell I did reply to it too but I will double check.
It says I am "passing invalid parameters" when I click the link in the email. I guess I can try switching my email back or something but I don't know what this means. Maybe I did it already and it is just saying I already verified.

I responded to the activation email when I switched emails back. Still not able to chat so this is not the problem. If my account is being restricted or something I would like to know cause this is getting annoying.
In understand that it can be challenging to get through the Support AI questions, but I think that is the only way to get an actual staff person to take a look. I don't have any secret back channel.
If I can't help, I might not be able to read what is in a screenshot but you can always send the picture and then select the option to connect to an agent.
- If you're a new user, chat is disabled until you've played 10 games and 48 hours have passed since account creation.
- Make sure your account is activated by clicking the link in the activation email you received when you signed up.
- Check your chat settings in Settings > Live Chess/Daily Chess and ensure 'Game Chat' is set to 'Friends Only' or 'Everybody'.

really odd, same thing happened to me. Cannot chat when playing games on desktop, but can chat when playing on my mobile android.
I got the same issue, chat disabled every single game. No message or notification to indicate anything has changed, and my settings should still allow it. The customer service bot is exactly as helpful as every other customer service bot I have seen (not at all).
Chat is disabled and I do not know why. I think I made a forum post about this already but I did not get many people helping me so if someone from Chess.com would help me out I would appreciate it. I tried opening support chats but the stupid AI is not helpful as it keeps suggesting the same things which I have tried. For some reason getting an actual human from Chess.com to actually look at my issue is difficult so out of desperation I am here.
If anyone has any ideas or can get ahold of someone from Chess.com I would appreciate it. I received no email about having anything restricted and I only use chat to send ggs or compliment people etc so I did not break any rules.
