Nothing is stopping game abandonment. Chess.com is useless, a very poor experience

When you agree to play a game, you’re agreeing to whatever time control you’ve selected. If you can’t wait until time has run out, select a shorter time control. If your opponent has abandoned the game, simply do something else until her time has run out. The “very poor experience” is the constant whining about players abandoning games

O wise old man who knows it all ... why doesn't Chess.com simply temporarily ban known abandoners??
