Unban from discord server
Sort:
From Discord's left sidebar, select the server in which you want to unban a user. At the top of the server page that opens, right next to the server name, click the down-arrow icon. From the down-arrow icon menu, select "Server Settings." A "Server Overview" page will open. Here, from the sidebar on the left, select "Bans."To ban a member from your Discord server on mobile, follow the below instructions: Open Discord on your Android or iOS device. Select your server from the left sidebar. Tap the Members icon in the top right corner. Tap the member you want to ban and choose Ban from the menu that appears. Enter a reason for the ban and tap Ban.

I am sorry for making a joke, I said I was gonna say the n word and that i am saying it and then said "Noice" It was a joke, but i got banned. You were not banned because of a joke, but because of persistent racist and homophobic statements.
DM me no earlier than September 15, 2024, and we can have a look at an unban.

It's not. If you violate server rules after we have just unbanned you – as I clearly explained to you – then any ban will last a very long time. Especially if you try to avoid the ban by joining with other accounts.
Compare that to users who get banned for the first time – they will have a much shorter duration. Also note that it's not an automatic unban, just the earliest day when we will begin any talks.
In other words, user history matters. A ban after you already got 10+ warnings is different from a ban when a user violated server rules for the first time.

Our server rules strongly caution against claiming you're underage. Also, these "jokes" are rarely funny.
At the moment, the only ways to lift a ban after claiming to be underage are:
- Become a titled player and get the title verified. (The FIDE & national databases contain your birth year.)
- Become a FIDE-certified coach and get that verified.
- Become a chess.com Partner Streamer.
- Show us your ID card and proof you control the discord account in person at twitchCon (or some chess tournaments).
- Wait until you'd reach 13 years with the age you claimed (i.e. until September 4, 2031).
There are no alternative ways of age confirmation per current chess.com policy, I'm afraid.

DM me about an unban on or after 2 months from now, i.e. January 6, 2025.
Why do you people care so much about that server? It's a very chaotic place where lots of little kids roam...
It's much cleaned up nowadays, give it a try! I recommend to mute #general-off-topic, that gets rid of 90% of the nonsense. Especially the #improvement-talk and #ask-an-expert channels contain a lot of helpful information.
