what happened to the new puzzle solving format?

I was enjoying accumulating points and moving along the wooden puzzle piece path then all of a sudden it reverted to the former point system. Was this newer format scuttled?

Which app are you on? As far as I'm aware it should be available to both Android and iOS app users.
You might double check your puzzle settings to verify it's not turned off.

And just updated the app to see if that would do the trick but it’s still not there.

In a different thread it was said they're working on a fix for the iOs puzzle problems.

Agreed. I was enjoying the series of puzzles “Black to move” or “White to move” and suddenly it’s gone. Instead I see the image of a man that looks like a sailor and the format seems cartoonish - I’d like to remind that this is Chess, not Angry Birds. How am I supposed to keep my chess rating going now? Please return the option to play a series of puzzles. 🙏🏽
