Why am I getting worser at chess?
1. Worser ❌, worse ✅
2. 2037 - 50 = 1988 ❌, 2037 - 50 =1,987 ✅
3. Don’t quit.
lol
I don't think losing 50 elo is that bad, and not a reason to quit. Unless those losses are spoiling your enjoyment of chess, in which case - take a break. I think it's pretty normal to have a few sub-optimal games, play unfocussed chess and lose some elo points.
When I lose points (which happens quite often) it's usually because my focus isn't great and I'm not concentrating properly, which can happen for various non-chess reasons.
I am a very good chess player. today I beat my friend who was 588 or smth we played 5 rounds. I won 4 and he had to go so we drawed by agreement. so yeah. But from my Elo. you may think I am very bad at chess. this is only because I get strong opponents. Is this unfair? yes, a bit. but I always play more games. and I regain my lost elo. But I know I am good. You should too. If you really think you are not good. learn. do not quit

You're a very good chess player because you beat a 588?
I can't stop laughing!
Ok. I am not a very good chess player but The point is that my elo undermines the fact that i am not horrible at chess
Bruh recently over just two days I played many blitz games and lost most like a noob - went from 2483 to like 2413

The first one was the first thing I saw 🤣 🤣
that is your problem. you might get ez opponents but when you get hard ones, you might struggle a bit (this is not accusatory and i am not insulting you) I just get hard ones and learn their tactics
You are not getting worse at chess. Everyone loses games from time to time (even grandmasters). The most important thing is that you learn from your mistakes and how not to repeat them in the future. Put what you have learnt onto practice and you will improve. This is how you get better at chess, particularly when you are young - when you will progress the most.
I have been trying to reach 1000 in blitz, came to the conclusion will never reach it, no matter how much I practice. I used to like chess, but since playing live chess, I have begun to hate it, losing on time when you are one move away from check mate and losing most games when I am way up on pieces on time, has made me really hate the game.
I have dropped 200 elo and this has happened again and again, which doesn't make any sense.
I started playing chess when I was 8, 52 years ago, but right now I can honestly say I hate this f game and I have played my last game today.
I'm not tilting and i literally lost 50 elo in rapid I went from 2037 to 1988
