Aren't Bishop + Knight vs king endgames 100% winnable?

I thought Bishop + Knight vs King endgames was like Rook/Queen/2 Bishops vs King endgames, no matter what position you get, you can still win if it is your move. Turns out I was wrong. when the king forks your bishop and knight and your king is too far in this endgame, no matter what you do it is a draw.

They are forced wins if the opposing king can't immediately capture or step into a square immediately threatening to win one of the pieces if it is unprotected.

I see, cause I thought no other forced checkmate combos can be forked, thanks @Martin_Stahl
