Best Checkmate's You've Ever Done
Last moves were not forced, but the move 20.c3!! is what I consider to be one of my best moves ever!
@Mecury_Carinona Well 11. Nh4 leads to 11. ... Qg4 as black's move then it is a Qeen trade but black ends up down a bishop.
I once did consecutive double checks (with the last one being mate). Unfortunately I didn't save the game.
Then I had this happen once in online blitz (White had some other pieces too):
Oh yeah, and I got to pull this one off against somebody:
This one isnt as exciting as the others, but I'm quite proud of it as it's my only mate with knight + bishop.

You're right, but seeing as this was someone who played their queen too early, my assumption is that they would rather not give up their queen even in a trade, as I would end up more developed afterwards anyway. That's why I think he forfeited.
all the more reason for my pponent to forfeit lol
I don't have the game score (it was from my first ever tournament when I was playing first board for my elementary team), but I was able to pull off a smothered mate, much to the surprise of my opponent who wondered what I was doing when I played Qg8+, but quickly realized, to her dismay, that it was mate after I played Nf7.
I was playing in the final of a U1800 OTB tournament and blundered my Queen for a Knight and Bishop on about move 15. Too embarrassed to resign and walk away 15 minutes into the round, I decided to play on and launched a King side attack into his castled position with my remaining pieces. I was able to mate him with a combination of the Knight, Bishop and Rook on move 30. Blunder to tornament win in 15 moves. Got lucky that day.
This is where you can boast about your best checkmates. You know, the ones you're really proud of or used to beat that know-it-all you always lose to. Talk about each other's endgames and see how you may have finished them. Whatever you want.
