Cool Endgame Strategy
Aye, I just really got to grips with this one not that long ago. What's easy and obvious to one person is tough and mysterious to another.
When you start out at chess, all you can see is things attacking each over, over time you start to see that chess is between the gaps, concepts and abstract. This is a good example of how you can protect someting indirectly, and this can be used in all aspects of the game.

I thought this was pretty kool, and never knew about this kind of endgame, but apparently its well known. See if you can figure out what to do before looking at the answer! I didnt get it at first :)
