Hi,

I'm new(ish) to chess and I really struggle when it comes to end game positioning.

Is there any free link people know of that can help me out.

Thanks in advance.

Recommend Silman's Endgame first, then move on to Shereshevsky's and Dvoretsky's Endgame Manuals; you don't need any other resources than these. I started with Averbakh's Chess Endings Essential Knowledge (1978 reprint).

I wouldn't worry about endgames yet. For people around 800 or below, most games are decided in the opening/middlegame. You should probably learn some basic mating patterns, but not much else is needed.
