thanks i'll go and look it up!
WHAT IN THE FREAK ARE ENDGAMES? JUST JOKIN GO TO THE LIBRARY AND LOOK FOR CHESS
i did but all i found was this big 500+ page book! lol! i'd rather buy it than have it for just two weeks.
i have chessmaster 10, and it does have a pretty good endgame tut. But im trying to look for a more exhaustive course...maybe i'll look at chessmaster11.
Chessmaster has some nice endgame examples... but it's not comprehensive, and I don't recall any changes in that area between 10 and 11. Mostly 11 adds a new, interactive series of tutorials based on Waitzkin's Art of Learning.
Silman's Complete Endgame Course is probably the most popular beginning endgame book. Other good choices include Seirawan's Winning Chess Endings and Pandolfini's Endgame Course (the one I used). I've also written a few endgame articles--you may want to check out the relevant ones as you encounter the topics in your book. :)
first learn all the pawnless endgames then after you learn rook +queen +2 bishops then move up to pawn and q and n vs bishop ones

thanks for the link, you have a lot of great info on your blog. I will be reading it!
Hey everyone, I was wondering if any of you know some good endgame study materials...like books or even a computer program that goes into a deep endgame course.
Thanks!
