Yes, I believe everyone should pick an opening they enjoy and are comfortable with.
If you play an opening which you don’t like, I think it causes more harm vs. good.

Open according to your own strategy which is very first shocker to the opponent..and then try for first kill which gonna put your opponent under psychological dilemma either continue with aggression or defend..

People - especially weaker players - put WAY too much emphasis on memorizing opening lines.
Everyone wants a quick fix... a way to get better scores without much work.
If they ignored that fashionable nonsense and spent even HALF that amount of time on important things - like King-and-Pawn or Rook-and-Pawn endgames, model mates and central Pawn formations - they would get twice as much benefit from it.
No gain without pain, people.
