Discovered attacks

hi-

our 8 year old is in 2 month chess club at school (chess wizards). he was given a discovered attack worksheet and I think I got the first 5/9 correct but need help with the rest. He explained kinda how things work to me but now I'm at a point where it's over my head. is there a way to upload a picture of the worksheet or is there an online simulator that would let me put the pieces in and try it out? thx!

You have to use a web browser to upload images, you can't do it on the app

Thank you. I'm on my browser and there is only an option for a chess board but no image or link. perhaps I haven't posted enough?

I uploaded the image here: https://imgur.com/a/nSuiuJr

The first 6 looks reasonable to me. Im still working on the rest.

The one to the right of the checkboard is for uploading images, my first post had an image so there is no restriction, I'm not sure what it looks like for you

They all look right to me btw

There are many things that I don't understand.

Isn't your son supposed to solve those problems? Isn't it serious cheating if someone else solves them? What is the point anyway?

It’s called help. do you think someone on the forums is just going to say something like β€œNf7+” NO obviously they are going to provide an explanation. It’s like saying the Bong Cloud is the best opening (it is) without giving proof.

Thank you. I just don't have that option for some reason.

Cheating on chess is a very serious crime in my country. They may lock my 8 year old and myself up.

I worked through all of these and 8 confused me for a while but it looks like you move the pawn to e8 and get a queen in return. Then black can't take your queen on d7 because the new queen would just take theirs.

Aren't you supposed to be an example instead of using other people off of here? You could've just learned a bit of chess in 10 minutes.

no. i don't play chess. if you don't feel like helping others then bud out.

I just learned chess while playing offline games without even realizing it around 2 months ago

you must be a joy to be around. what does that have to do with asking for help? like i said, if you don't want to help then simply don't. nobody asked for your opinion. you did notice that everything was completed in the picture already right? i hope you lose sleep over this.

Chessian-Ian

I'm being honest if you don't feel like being a good example just say "I don't know" to your son and just have him sit for maybe 10-30 minutes watching GothamChess or another chess channel that talks about chess games.
