I have had Diamond many years. It must be worth it to me.
Is the Chess.com diamond membship worth the price?
I joined 3 days ago and got the 7-day free trial of Diamond. It has a lot of interesting features. At the end of the trial, I'm going to cancel my membership at participate at the free level for a while. Once I've figured which features I miss the most, I'll sign up for that level.
Unfortunately, sometimes the Internet connection with the online chess site is interrupted, while at the same moment other sites are connected to the Internet, this causes loss.
If you sometimes worry about having enough money for the next month, it isn't worth it.
If you don't worry about running out of money and you use chess.com a lot, then it's not only worth it, it's an obvious increase in your chess quality of life.

you could have a million dollars and it still would not be worth it.
If you had infinite money and used chess.com all the time how is it not worth it. You can do more puzzles and analyze more games. Enough said.

5 free puzzles per day is enough for me.
And you can analyze any number of games for free. What you're probably thinking of is "Game review", but that's totally useless.

Saying that UI improvements to an essential function are useless is pretty macob.

Chess.com doesn't have any control over the internet connection between your device and its servers.
Live chess playing can require multiple reconnections per second. Somehow, the servers have to pick your moves out of the hundreds of thousands of signals passing by each second and re-direct them to your opponent.
This is different than the one-way streaming sites you use that can take advantage of building up a cache of prerecorded content for you and do not require multiple connections per second.
My impression is Platinum gives you anything you need except videos and insights. It depends on what you're into. Personally, I'm a former player and a programmer, so I have my own program I've tailored for myself to chart tendencies and themes. And I don't like videos. You can always trial it and downgrade if necessary. I think the biggest value difference is between gold and platinum.
This is like the second worst place to ask about this. Almost everyone here hates chess.com and will obviously say no. So answers are kinda biased.
Like ChessMasteryOfficial said, I believe if you really like the lessons, puzzles, puzzle rush, and creating tournaments, it may just be worth it
No. I will neverhace a subscription to chess.com. chess.com supported the war in Ukraine. Many innocent people have died.
