Lost 100 ELO in 30 Minute Games Past 5 weeks.

I don't know what to do: The more I lose the less confidence I have, the worse I play, the more I lose.  I was doing so well and peaked at 916. Now, i am close to sinking below 800. I play 30 minute time constraints. I review and annotate my games. I do puzzle rush, puzzle survival, Polgar M1, joined the Chess Dojo, Everyone's First Chess Workbook-2 times, watched every content provider and type of YouTube video content maker you can suggest...all of them. I even have a friend on Lichess who helps me after I annotated my games. I am not going to spend more money on coaching. I just don't know what to do. I have taken breaks from chess for a week or so. I have spent time just playing. I have spent time just studying. I just lost half the ELO it took me a year to gain in five weeks. Thats it. Just a rant.

Everyone goes through up and down periods. If you have done all that you said, your rating will fall until you start winning more than you lose and then your confidence will come back.

One big problem is that you aren't playing very much at all. Only 19 games since September 1st. You have played a total of 5,428 games here over the last 6 years and only played 19 in the last two months.

/ Did you read the comments on your last post?

That guy practically wrote you a book on your game and you made no comments.

Mate, I'm sure you're frustrated with what sounds like all the work you have put into improving. If you want we can train together, maybe go through some of your games and talk over some positions might spark whatever may be holding you down right now.

I am very new to the game, but I can still see you are making some mistakes. Like in your recent game against VladyslavHera, instead of 8.Qd5 you could have done something like O-O to better protect your king and prepare for connecting your rooks. Obviously I am not good at the game myself, but I know I have to rectify these mistakes to improve further.

Hi!

It looks like you are working hard. But are you sure you are working in the things that really matter for improvement? Mind hard might not always be efficient use of time if done in not critical subjects.

Good luck!
