The worst move I've ever seen (1600 bot Isabel)

So I was dead for all money in this recent game against Isabel and then this happened.

Even if you were playing a kid and they made this move you'd think they were throwing the game......

Hung the threatened knight AND moved the king far enough away from the pawn that it couldn't be reached - all in a single move.  Turned what should have been a +12 advantage (knight + promoted queen) into a king-king stalemate.  This is after she had made fairly precise moves all game and completely outplayed me to get that advantage.

Really the bots could do with some refining - the difference between their best and their worst is just too great to be believable in many cases.     I know humans make blunders, but some of the blunders the bots make are just not believable based on the tight level they play at for the majority of the game.   Like:

<best move>

<best move>

<great move>

<best move>

<blunder: hangs queen for no reason>

I acknowledge that human opponents are where it's at and they probably haven't put much effort into some of the bots, but it feels like just a little refinement could make them a lot more fun to play against.

Thoughts?

Wasn’t she supposed to study the endgame with her GM coach?
