What to play against d4

i can commonly do somewhat well against any other moves but d4 games i tend to lose or draw more idk why . mostly they play london / queens gambit so i dont know how to fend them off . 
any suggestions for a good opening to know/learn for my elo level ?

You could learn the kings Indian but you’d have to learn how to be positional

Or just d5 and learn how to play against the London and queens gambit

One of my friends suggested to learn KID but i find KID really complex as its 9/10 times a Closed position and therefore i suck at mid-game .

I almost exclusively play the old Benoni, and at my level (1200) I haven't seen someone really counter it properly yet, usually the games I lose after Benoni are stupid sequences of moves by me.
