Set a limit to your rating range. (For example, +200.)
Anyone who is >200 elo higher than you will then get an error message if they try to join your game.

Beginner Chess players are told to start off with long time controls.
Rapid or Classical time controls so that they have time to think and learn chess positions.
Most Chess players listen so eventually they end up with a high Rapid or Classical rating such as 1,600.
However, their Bullet rating remains low.
Eventually, the 1,600 players with low bullet rating try to increase their bullet rating so it’s similar to their other ratings.

The above interaction is what you are experiencing.
It is very normal.
Its getting very obnoxious when I lose a game in bullet to someone with my same elo range, but then i go to their profile and it says they are like 400+ elo better than me in all other time frames, I thought elo was supposed to be the skill level number, shouldnt i be put against other people who have my exact elo range :l
idk its just getting frustrating when people that know so much more theory and all that who can plop down the perfect gameplan without thinking are slumming it down here where i am. This is my trash gutter dangit :L Do i have to play a different time set in order to play people actually at my level or something??
