No, you certianly cannot, not any more than you can tell me what you are talking about.  But even if you knew what you were talking about, nobody else would understand you because most of the time you can't construct meaningful sentences.  I was hoping that one of your partners would explain the purpose of this column, hopefully one with E.S.P. (extrasensory perception) so in the event that you DID know what your were trying to say they could at least read your mind and tell us all so we would finally get it.  I guess I was disillusioned.  Either that or I don't have E.S.P.

Awardchess is probably what Yoda sounded like on the star wars movies before George did his script rewrites. I can hardly make sense of anything this guy says, it's almost as though he can type out tourettes outbursts. I can't stay away though, sad really, it's like cheater_1 all over again. I just hop on the forum to see the trainwreck. Maybe chess has finally cracked me

First of all, I demand that you do not use my Lord's name so lightly on this forum.  It is insulting to me and I would appreciate it if you would not do this in the future.  I thank you for your cooperation :)

Second of all, you have the audacity to call Awardchess sick for ......uh....oh yea expressing his individuality.  He isn't "hating people" like you are.  He is not insulting anybody.  However, you seem to be doing both of those things.  It seems to me, sir, that you are the person who needs to be warned.  So consider this your first warning.  Any more of your distasteful "hate" as you even admitted to will earn yourself a report abuse.  That is if Awardchess has been kind enough not to report you already.

I still cannot understand how his posts can possibly annoy some people to become rabid haters like this person.  If so hate Awardchess as you claim to... then how about you just (here's a revolutionary idea) do not look into his threads.  Wow!  That took alot of thinking.  I believe I have just solved this problem.

diskamyl, I am very glad you are being  more civil :)  Now we can actualy discuss this issue.  First of all, is broken english and, somewhat, witty posts truly "disturbing."  Should this word be taken so lightly.  All of awardchess's posts share one thing (and no its not stupidity).  They are all light, and carefree.  Certainly such behavior cannot be termed as "disturbing."  Can we at least agree upon that?

As much as I prefer posts that are not all in caps/bold/crazy colours I have to wonder what good it does to have any sort of policy that forbids people posting in this way.  It all just seems like a rather slippery slope.  First you can control how someone can format their posts, from here it is not too far of a leap to start forbidding people from posting in anything but perfect grammar, or who continue to spell words incorrectly.  Post format nazis are not much higher up the social ladder than grammar nazis. 

Instead of reporting abuse did you ever try something as civil as posting something like this - Awardchess I find your posts hard to read because of the way you format them, I understand you are expressing yourself but the way you are doing so is making it difficult for me to view your posts.  If you want your posts to be more accessable to the masses I suggest formating them differently.

Something like that might have, just maybe, had the exact same result as your tattletailing without any of the harshness.  Of course if you feel you need to be a bully to make yourself feel better about whatever you feel like feeling better about then by all means continue to post in your sudo abusive manner.  I would just like to point out that your posts would be of more value to more viewers if you were to be more polite and less rude/holier than thou. 

Of course if everyone were to follow my suggestions the world would be far to PC for my liking and I would need to start bullying people to shake things up a bit.

So I guess this all leads me to my original thought - where do you draw the line?

I stopped using a colors and CAP at the naming  a few days ago, after someone complain on me, just for that!..

I hate to tell you but this forum has absolutely nothing to do with chess.  Or I suppose it could be ploy to distract others from actually playing or otherwise studying the game.  Mabey the KGB is behind all this.  Mabey they are trying to push down the ratings of English speaking folk like myself. 

I just signed up for a crash-course in Russian.  I am hoping the most of their curses are 4 letters long or less, as I have a hard time learning foreign languages.

As far as insulting you, I do not mean to insult you at all.  I am just trying to understand what you are saying.  Mabey my crash-course will help me there.  Or I could go visit a physic.
