the little kid, the little kid moves like the duck from duck chess. if the little kid is captured, he screams capturing every piece on the side that captured the kid.

the cursed sword. the cursed sword can move like a rook but can pierce through 2 pieces capturing both. cannot capture a 3rd but it can capture the piece where it stops. if the cursed sword captures more that 4 pieces it will become enraged and can pierce through 5 pieces instead of 2 also when enrages moves like a queen. (extra info. value: 10 points. way to get the piece: have the rook capture another rook.) btw if the king is on the same file in front of 1 piece or 5 if enraged it is in check therefore must move.
I have a proposal for a new chess variant. The queen would be able to jump over 1 piece in a move almost like a knight however it can not check the king through another piece to avoid in order to much of an advantage the second change is that when the king is put in check it is able to double move but it can not move through check or into check additionally the king can not capture the piece that originally put it into check. I am still playing around with the idea but let me know what you think of it so far. If you have any other suggestions for the variant let me know.
the hologram. the hologram moves like the king but cannot be captured unless more than 2 pieces are attacking it. every move a hologram of it is made. starting with 0 and ending with 6 holograms. if any piece tries to take a fake one they will be captured. INCLUDING THE KING. the only way to tell is how transparent the pieces are. the real is 60% transparent and the others are 50% transparent.
the communist. the communist moves like a bishop. if a piece is captured it has a chance to be added to your army in any empty square near your back file.
The illusioner
the illusioner can go Anywhere, the illusioner can clone itself but the real illusioner becomes invisible which makes it can’t be seen by the player but only you can. The player can see the clone of the illusioner and you too, but if they it eat the clone of the illusioner, instead of eating the clone of the illusioner the clone illusioner can eat the piece when eaten. The real illusioner can be eaten. The real illusioner needs to hide because if the real illusioner gets eaten it can actually GET eaten so it’s technically a game of hide and seek but it’s chess. Once you move the illusioner the illusioner becomes visible so act quick and spawn another clone. Once you spawn a clone, you can choose a spot to hide the real illusioner so the other player can’t know where is the real illusioner is at. If one of your pieces go on your real illusioner, then the illusioner pretends it’s not even existing. If your piece is on top of the illusioner and for example a pawn eats whoever is on the illusioner, the pawn eats the illusioner and whoever is on the illusioner eats the pawn. Also the clone illusioner cannot eat pieces unless it’s eaten. The real illusioner can eat but becomes visible.
pls someone says this is smart it took me a bit to do this one
ok. this is kool B)
the forgotten. the forgotten is fully invisible to the opposing side and it can only be captured by moving to where it is. then it will become uninvisible. being capturable. the piece cannot capture while invisible. when invis it moves everywhere except on pieces blocked by others. if uninvis it moves like a queen and can capture. if uninvis for 7 moves without getting captured it goes invis again

It can move like a queen and a knight COMBINED, but when it touches any edge on the board, it disappears...

Amazon but worse
Rat: Can only move one space forward and cannot attack. When the rat reaches the eighth rank, it has the movement and attack of the queen and knight. The Rat takes the place of the Queen.
The invisible pawn. This goes to the player that has the lowest rating and is put on any empty square. Moves like a normal pawn, but the higher rated player cannot see it. The difference must be 200 or more in order for the invisible pawn to appear. If the difference is 700 or more, 2 invisible pawns appear on the low-rated player's side. This would give low-rated players in high-rated tournaments somewhat of a decent chance.

and if the difference is 1000 or more, it's an invisible knight/bishop
the mortar, every 5 moves the mortar goes off and fires in a random area on the board, if in a 3 square radius to the blast every piece will be captured, not including the king but it will stun it making the king unable to move for 2 turns, if in check while stunned that is checkmate no matter what.
