i don't suppose it would work on someone else... because of the poor play by black and somwhat less poor play by white, but spotting mates would surely help a bunch of people... so it has some value... to your little brother, maybe he shall become a young pridogy! :)

 you don't have to be so mean, and neither does red_rage.  i agree with evil_homer: it is great that he's playing with his little brother.  im sure that because of colin, carter will be a great player one day.  i am a beginner too, and when ur a beginner u need simple things to learn from when u start out.  u cant just go watch people who play like professionals, because u wont learn anything if u dont understand what moves are good and what moves arent. 

That taught your brother not to move h5 and bring the rook out early, yeah?

I don't know a more efficient way to do it =P

I don't like the "trap". I can't imagine that ever happening in my games.
