I play a lot of chess in my free time and against bots, puzzles, and sometimes people. But whenever I play against them I keep getting absolutely destroyed, not being able to capitalize if I have a better position, can't find checkmate, and just can't get good tactics going. I watch, play, and practice some chess but I never improve. So I am wondering how to improve? My rating is near 500-600. I also have no money to purchase lessons online for a coach or website.
