Yes, it is b8=black knight. No you can't do this(anymore), which is why it is in "fun with chess". The bishop and knight are just to throw you off.

No mate in one here, was there ever such a rule that has now been changed or is this puzzle just a joke?
I can't find the one move 'mate, either. although it would really be something like "20 move checkmate", since it would have to include previous moves. :P
