reasons play bullet instead of rapid

Bullet is shorter so you can play it more as rapid takes like 20 minutes it's not very versatile

I mean, I hate to wait. I play chess almost just by intuition and common sense, and I am good and thinking fast, so... I dont feel comfortable playing so serious like i am doing something important, it is just a game. It is boring for me to calculate a lot or to be patient.. so If I can play 10 games 1 minute per game, instead of 1 game per 10 min, I would totally choose bullet. I even like blitz, but just 2 min and 3 min with no increment..

bullet allows for quick reflexes unlike rapid.

Like why people often play bullet over rapid

Bullet is for people with ADHD, rapid for normal ones.

Bullet is just brainrot where you just spam moves that do nothing and you can lose if you had mate in 1 so in my opinino bullet is bad and rapid is so much better. The only good thing about bullet is that if you lose elo you caan get it back fast while if you lose elo in rapid it con 20+ minutes to get it back.

i'm just much better at faster time controls than slower ones.

I can fit in a game in 2 mins so I can play a lot

I suck at rapid

If you play bullet the only thing you are achieving is just getting better at Bullet not general chess.

That is why I quit bullet... didn't help my USCF rating at all

Rapid is definitely much more useful than bullet...if you are into OBT

But I get that some people just don't like the longer games
