Well what can i say? your rating comes up and it comes down. Right now your best rating is 1427 so maybe 1500 is a bit high, but keep working away, My bullet is only 1300, But standard correspondence (standard and chess 960) are all above 1500, so i don't mind

Rating suffers from statistical uncertainty, defined by your rating deviation, which you can find in your profile page. You should not see your rating as a fixed measure but as a bell curve, e.g. not "1200" but \mu=1200; \sigma=50 (I'm making up numbers, just for the sake of argument), which means 67% confidence (1 Standard Deviation) of your rating being greater or equal than 1150 and lower or equal than 1250. Also, it is natural for your online rating to have great volatility, expecially since players usually play on the Internet more casually and less consistently than on the board. Even when your rating is established you should still expect to see it fluctuate in a 50-200 points wide interval (wildly inaccurate guess, your mileage may vary depending on the frequence of your games).
Don't let your mind be obfuscated by a four-digit number. It's stupid. And keep up playing. If you deserve to be 1500, your rating will eventually stabilize around that figure.
yes agreed attwo. I played a 1487 a few days ago three times in standard games. he played like a low 1300. he was new. but i whooped him three times, his moved his queen early let me develop and oops there is a fork and is by by queen. play club games (lots of them) and your rating will stabalize bullet does not mean a lot
My standard rating is also 1400
good luck getting better at bullet. is seems like there is always a rating wall that is difficult to cross. lots of highs and lows in bullet

A couple months ago I hit 1468 rating in bullet... I wanted to get to 1500 in bullet, Since I started off my bullet journey by beating a 1700 rated player I thought it was going great
but then I saw one of my friends and lets just say I paid a lot of rating points to him... now I am dow in the 1300 s ! thats one of the worst ratings of my life ! so my natural instinct is to fighht back and get my road back to 1500... 
So I played my way back with +3 all the way ! and now... last match, You have to win this Sebastien I told myself desperatly. And ofcourse back to 1345 it is 
... This happened 4 times in a row ! again and again for half of the year ! today, ladys and gentalmens... 1397 is present know, a different rating ! finaly something different ! The '' Curse '' I call it, is broken ! and know I give myself a try, what does 1397 +3 make ?! I realy hope I win this, or else, it will not be very plesant 
. And on this day... september 25, I had to shake successe's hand. I was going to a survival in the cadetes ( training for millitary services ) I had no time for chess. I AM A FIGHTER ! now since my confidence went down a lot, I lost once a gain, I am now at 1330 ! I cant get back with +3 all the way ! At the end of the week I managed to squeez in some time to fight my way at 1395... still a horible rating, but if I am going anywear, I am going to 1400 again I guesse.
I think I will let this go for a little while. Dont want to hit the curse again !
