2 beginners need a ruling
Wyatt,
Just for clarification. In this diagram, Black king is actually on c5 and white queen is on a4.
But overall, Razboi is right. Whoever wants it more has to budge and try something new.
Good luck!
Hi,
We have never come upon this situation in our play. White Queen has Black King in some what of a perpetual check between spaces f3 and f4, because Black King refuses to escape through f2, g2, e2, etc...
Is it the Black King's responsibilty to move out of a somewhat perpetual check, or does white have to change his strategy?
Wyatt
Although, checking the opponents king and placing a check mate is the aim of the game , but pesonally I prefer to play the game as a whole to enjoy , if the oppoent or either party, keeps following to check, there is no fun left in the game.I prefer having fun rather than sudden check /mate, and end it.
have fun,
Chessica
Hi
What Rabozi said is true. When the same position is repeated three times it automatically qualifies for a draw. And when either of the party does not want to budge a little what is left in the game other than stats. So it would be better for both of the parties to accept it as a draw, forget it and start another game anew. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH OF YOU!
