Anybody have advice on my end game? It was close, my opponent played very strong at the end.

I am still shocked that they resigned to be honest. 1300 players stalemate all the time in that position.

This guy even stronger, man are there some new vidoes about endgame???

There are no videos about endgames in which one side is up ten thousand pieces.

Well where do these guys learn their crazy tactics? They are so good! Never even consider resigning, that's how much confidence they have.

You should have just put your opponent out of their misery, instead of hanging a knight and rook for no reason. The guy went through enough while losing a completely winning game.

Learn to win games early; work on combinational piece play; both games went 30 moves too long by missing simple M3/M4 positions (check mid 60s). Seemed to be unsure or distracted even though there was plenty of time to look for better moves. Silman's Endgame and Averbakh's Chess Endings are good resources. Still, good play.

at your level I think it’s just focusing on the middle game because you’ll rarely end up at a drawn endgame or a tricky one that needs thinking

sleepyzenith

skimming through the games try to calculate at least a few moves in advance to see what your opponent will do, along with evaluating king safety

The games that you linked to are not what we consider endgames. In both games, you were ahead by a piece or more. It is a mop up exercise, not an endgame.

Man what are these games that you linked, chess is a game of elegance and sportsmanship.
You possess neither skill.
Please stop disrespecting your opponent in games.

He is disrespecting himself showing to the worlld he used that imbecile method in K+R vs K.

1. I had a very good reason. You're just not getting it.

2. Show me where I lost.

Sportsmanship is a two way street. They are disrespecting me by thinking I can't mate them - after watching me dismantle them in a game.

If I respect my opponent, I will resign 2 or 3 moves prior to a non-obvious mate. Because I know they see it. If I don't respect them, I play like these guys. They are telegraphing that they do not respect me. Why should I show respect for them?

Just to quickly address your second point, he never claimed you lost the game.
Just to quickly address the reponse you deleted in which you claimed your "very good reason" was to see his endgame tactics, I wonder which endgame tactics you were trying to learn from your opponents play in below position.

ah yes the person playing out the game till checkmate (like chess.com's fair play rules tell people to do) is the one who is disrespectful and not the person wasting opponents time who like previously mentioned is following chess.com's fair play rules.
I am pretty sure the only thing being dismantled here is your intelligence.

He said I lost the endgame. I didn't lose anything, anywhere, at anytime. I crushed these guys and chose to lick every last drop off of my fingers.

They are both disrespectful. The difference is, they started it. I am merely giving them back what they gave me.

Nobody here is claiming you lost the game, however you did just claim you weren't losing at any point in the game which is interesting since you did lose pawn and it was +2 for white at the start of the game.
Also you conveniently decided to ignore the question of which endgame tactics you learned from K+B+R+c pawn+c pawn vs K.
