Hey guys, I just checkmated another player in 9 moves. Quite unexpected, but I am more interested in how much of the win can be attributed to my own skill vs. repeat blunders by my opponent. Please observe and share your opinions.
He definetly over extended himself and wasted moves with those first few pawn moves.
He definetly should have traded knights on move eight, and doesn't have much of a choice but to trade on move nine.
I think the plan Qa5 , Qb4 is not good (the Queen enters too early).
For White is better 7. Bd3 (White do not need defend the pawn on b2, if 8. ... Qxb2
then 9. Rb1 Qa3 10. Nb5 +/- ) with different treats ( Nd5 or Nb5 or e5).
