How could I have won quicker?

 WaZaaa!!!

Won this long game a while ago but I just needed advice on how to have won quicker. I do know for sure that I would have had a checkmate with my knight near the end. Please comment.

Instead of 36. Nd5,

36. Bh6 Qxg2 37. Qh6+ Qg5 38. Qxg5#

That's a nice mate!

Instead of 37.Bf3+,

37. d7 Qh6+ 38. Qxh6 Bxd7 39. Bf3+ Kd4 40. Qe3#

as well on 38 you should have pushed the pawn to d7 instead of c3+, because if you would've pushed d7, and your opponent took with the bishop (knee jerk reaction) then c3 would've been mate...and nothing compares to checkmate with a pawn!

This is a good game to post because I think it shows how many of us can have a clear winning advantage and not play optimally. I have the same tendency of chasing the king around or taking pieces when mate is possible. 

Cheerz JuliusH! Awrsome advice on the combinations for 36 and 38 but didn't quite follow for 37. Really appreciate your post... For real, quite an example of inefficiency hehehe...
