just a few blunders =)
"4. Nc3 this is my opening" Do you find that high rated players use this opening as well? The mobility of your bishops looks pretty restricted.
"5. Bd3 my friend recommended Be2." 5. Be2 Bxc3 and now the e4 pawn is unprotected. The bishop on d3 restricts the d2 pawn and in turn the c1 bishop. I would prefer 5. Qc2 ifyou want to protect the e4 pawn. Even better might be 5. e5 The f6 knight does not have a comfortable place to go.
8. Re1. With no reason to believe the e-file is going to open up, this move seems to waste time. I prefer 8. Bc2 followed by 9. d4 trying to free your position.
9. Rb1 You're undecided where the rook should go because there are no open lines in this position. There aren't even any potential lines opening up.
"13. ... g5. a common trap in this opening. Nxg5 Nxd5 exd5 Qxg5 and black is up a knight..." I heartily disagree. 14. Nxg5 Nxd5 15. exd5 Qxg5 16. dxc6 wins the knight back.
