I am not an expert in openings, but I knew a few back in college when I used to play more often... playing the oposite pawn is not a good one, and if it is an opening (I don't recall seeing that one) then I bet is a very complicated one. Try the Scotch game (1.e4 e5 2.Kf3 Kc6 3.d4 etc) it's kind of open, and is better for begginers... if you like closed games, and wild combinations, then you'd love Petrov (1.e4 e5 2.Kf3 Kf6) for me is wonderful! I do agree the the second move was a bad one... good luck!
