In books and chess magazines, you won't find any symbol for "best move". The closest thing there is, is this one: ⌓ that means "a move better than the move played".
The reason why wriiten annotated games, on paper, won't use a symbol such as "best move", is that, that famous best move, will be in many cases only the best move the writter, or a software used by the writter can see. Saying "best move" in such case, is simply presomptuous and misleading, when a better GM or a better software will maybe later prove there is a better move than the one so labelled.
Otherwise, ! is good move, and !! a very good move (also can be said "exceptionnal, brilliant, etc").
A symbol that chess.com does not use, is the following: !? which means "interresting move". For it's all softwares based, and softwares, so far, have got not a clue what "interresting" means. To tell the truth, there is no precise meaning to the word, in chess.
