why playing unrated is worst than rated

https://www.chess.com/game/live/104218771517 take a look at my game with a 1800 , he is 400 points more than me but i still won , i think it was unrated so he did not care he loss cz even he lose he dont lose point so he just play any how . 

so i have a question : is it me who's rating is just low or my opponent who just play any how ?

ur opponent wasnt serious about the game so he blundered few times casually, plus ur rating is low

If you play unrated continuously then you will keep making mistakes

hm... the use is u play against higher rated players to improve and at the same time ur rating does not change

If you think he threw the game then I agree that you ought to ask him to please not pull any punches.

And it's also used to avoid risking rating if you have to play a lower rated player

Playing unrated is fun if you just want some entertainment and don't want to think that hard.

I like playing quicker games unrated because my brain doesn't work fast enough for the short games.
