A Fairly Good Game
you should develop better your pieces.

Would you mind illustrating the perpetual check? I looked at it for a little bit, but I can't come up with a way for him to keep getting check and force my King to the same two squares.
I didn't do an exhaustive analysis of the game, but I do disagree with your decision to play 6. ... Qe7 as I believe that 6. ...Be6 7. Bxe6 fxe6 is good for black, and better than 6. ... Qe7. The reason is that the queen on e7 must be moved again before the dark square bishp can come out, and it becomes a wasted tempo if your opponent decides not to capture on e6. Aside from that, the continuation I suggest is good for black in my opinion. It opens up the f-file for Black's rook when he castles kingside and it keeps white pieces out of d5.
After looking at it, I think 6. ... Be7 intending 7. ... O-O and 8. ... Be6 is better because of the line 6. ... Be6 7. Bxe6 fxe6 8. Bg5 Be7 9. Bxf6 Bxf6 10. Qh5+ where Black either forfeits the right to castle or weakens the kingside via g6. Just something to think about. Doubled pawns in the center are often a good thing, especially if they restrict pieces and are not exposed.
At move 31. for white
I dont know if white can hold, but this is the only way to try, surely. If black doesnt watch it , he may blow it
hi,
draw really can be done by 31.Qg8...
the continuous of the following perpetual check could be long or short ... but where ever you would move your king to, white can check you with the queen alone and force you to finally reach the same position again
eg; 31.Qg8+ Kd7 32.Qg5+ Kc8 33.Qa6+ Kd8 reaching the same position... (not 33... Kb8 then 34 Rb4# mate)
or 32... Kd6 33. Qb6 , forcing your king to go down again
I think Black can still do really well even after Qg8+. This is one possible line, but if someone can find a flaw in it, please let me know.
EDIT: I just realized 6. Qd7#, so I suppose repetition is possible. The below has some other possible results. Ultimately it looks like White should be able to at least draw, but there is definitely plenty of room for mistakes on both sides.
None taken. I'm under no illusion as to how good I am. Still, I felt like it was a good game, whether my opponent and I played well or not, I enjoyed it.
Would you mind pointing out the things I did that were bad though. I'd like to improve if I can and that would be easiest if you could point out my errors.
the pawn move gives white even a chance to win..
from your 1st diagram at comment #8 after 3... Ke6 then Qd7 wins everything
from 2nd diagram 1... Ke8 then Qd7 also does the same.
no offense?? eh?? what do you want from posting this then? It is an offense because you didn't give any comments or suggestions.
to play bad or brilliantly depends on the rating of the players as well. when there are bad moves, it doesn't mean it is a bad game.
